Book 1: Vampire in Denial

As if being a sixteen-year-old vampire isn't hard enough, Tessa has just enough human genes to make her a virtual outcast among her own blood relatives. She's always known she's different from them, her talents nothing special. If only she could get a handle on the vampire lifestyle and not mind all the blood.


When fitting in and discovering her own unique abilities like the rest of her clan possesses doesn’t seem possible, given her graceless lack of vamp magnificence, she decides to turn her back on the world she knows and embrace life as a human teenager. She attends high school, experiences peer pressure, and finds a boyfriend. Jared stirs something in her blood. He's smart and fun and cute, and, for the first time in her life, Tessa feels like maybe she can become who she's meant to be.


But Tessa's hope-filled dreams turn into a nightmare when a clan of vicious vampires who want things to go back to the Old Ways attack the movie theatre she's having her first date in, and Jared falls into their hands.


Torn between two vastly different worlds, just as she's always been, Tessa realizes to save her boyfriend and discover who she is and what she's capable of, she has to find a way to awaken the potential of the blood that flows in her veins…somehow.


Book 2: Vampire in Distress


Sixteen-year-old Tessa finds herself at the center of a war that a violent faction of vampires who want a steady supply of humans to feed from has started. Her boyfriend Jared has been kidnapped by the vicious vamps, and, without the unique genetic abilities the others in her peaceful clan possess, her only option is to rally friends and family to help her rescue him. In the process, they uncover a secret that disrupts everything they've ever believed and known.


The youngest of his ancient line, eighteen-year-old Cody, descends from a race of flyer vampires. When Tessa is imprisoned by the vampires holding her boyfriend, Cody's only thought is getting her back. She's the kid sister of his best friend…but the conflicting emotions he feels at her plight suggest that maybe she means something more, much more, to him.


Jared assumes his life is forfeit at the hands of the vampires who have nefarious plans for him and the other humans they've caged with him.  When another clan of vampires rescues him, he's left with no idea who to trust. The last thing he expects is for the girl he was falling for prior to his kidnapping, Tessa, to be one of the vamps. But, since she's also imprisoned, does that mean she's a good one? His life is turned upside-down as his beliefs about the world as he's always known it are drastically altered.


A war between humans and good and bad vampires is on the precipice of breaking loose all around Tessa, Jared and Cody – a war that promises to show them no mercy.


Book 3: Vampire in Design


Teenage Tessa and her friends should have been home and safe after being rescued from their vampire kidnappers. Instead, she wakes to find herself alone, Jared and Cody apparently snatched all over again…and she has no clue know who took them. Scared, pissed off and aware she's been a target all along, Tessa discovers she's been locked in a lab by those who want to tap into the latent genetic abilities in her vampire blood.


Caught in a dangerous maze, Cody knows he has to help his fellow captives, but all he wants to do is find Tessa. The connection growing between him and his best friend's sister has undeniably become the center of his universe. But any future they might have together is in jeopardy if they can't stop the Old World vampires from developing a blood farm they intend to fill with humans in stasis who will serve as their permanent feeding supply. The only ones standing against their evil plans to take over the world are Cody and Tessa's clan of peaceful vampires.


Jared is exhilarated to be free at last…but even as the distance between him and the blood farm he miraculously escaped from increases, he can't stop thinking about those still trapped there – the ones who helped him flee. Can he really walk away from what's happening? From the horror it portends? When he discovers something sub rosa that all but paralyzes him, he has no choice but to act on the knowledge…even if it means walking straight back into the hellish prison he narrowly escaped from.
